JK Rowling interview - your patronus?

If you've read Deathly Hallows, here is a super interview with JK Rowling. Tiny excerpt:

Question: What would your patronus be?
JK's answer: I'd like an otter, like Hermione, but I've got a feeling it might be a large dog.

I'd like a panda, because they make me feel warm and fuzzy, they are in essence Chinese, though many transplanted, like me, and the efforts of many to save pandas (among other endangered species) give me hope of our humanity.

What about you?

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. It's really nice to see comments and hear from people who drop by.

I think if I had a patronus, it would be cat since I love kitties.

I think that people (particularly parents) need to be the ones taking charge of their kids' business, like the internet, playing video games, or watching tv. And since parents become lax in the parenting, the kids think they can get away with it and will run wild.

Okay, I'll stop ranting here.. I'll do more later on my blog. LOL.

Thanks again! I'll link you, too.

I don't know what my patronus would be, something like a tiger on the inside but a bunny on the outside. It is kind of intersting to think about though, because you really have to think about what animal reflects your personality.

yh - thanks for coming here to visit! I have a lot to say about the parenting/internet safety thing, but I will save it for its own post soon.

jayme - it is hard to do! I wasn't even thinking about the animal's characteristics when I picked panda (what's a panda's characteristic? hard to raise in captivity?). Maybe some people would choose a favorite pet animal. I thought it was a great question and I liked JK's answer.

Tough question. My kids say I'm a kangaroo - overprotective. I stick them in my pouch and hop off at the first sign of danger. I wish I had that much energy.

I'd like it to be a horse. That would be some cool patronus.

I reckon my patronus would be an elephant or something like that. Some kind of animal that lives in families, is fiercely loyal, has a long memory, and is very very cute. Ha.
